The Carbon Village model is dedicated to engaging smallholder farmers, known as C-sink Farmers, through the CSI Global Artisan C-sink Guideline.

At the core of our approach is comprehensive farmer training, encompassing key aspects of biochar production. From feedstock storage preparation to pyrolysis techniques, our objective is to equip farmers with the essential skills for effective and sustainable biochar practices. Aligned with the CSI Global Artisan C-sink Guideline, our initiative establishes a collaborative C-sink Network, promoting knowledge sharing among farmers actively involved in biochar production. The activities of these farmers undergo close monitoring by Biochar Life, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the C-sink Network.
